Welcome! This site is a general introduction to the process of seeking external funding. It is intended to provide an overview, not be an exhaustive guide to the world of foundations and proposals.
Please contact the Foundation Office before making a submission. In some cases, multiple submissions will disqualify all Biola requests to that foundation. Other foundations place limits on how many individuals may apply in a given year. For example, the Dr. Scholls Foundation will only accept one application per institution per year. The Foundations Office can verify that the application may be accepted before you going to the trouble of writing it.
Biola works hard to cultivate long-term mutually beneficial relationships with a number of local and national foundations. We can serve you by providing a summary of previous contacts that could give valuable background information as you craft a proposal.
We are here to serve you! Please allow us to do so. Contact the faculty grant coordinator at xt. 4551, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
