Purpose and Mission

The Alumni and Friends Department exists to build relationships with the alumni and friends of Biola, by providing opportunities for their encouragement, involvement, increased awareness and financial support of the university, through communication, programs and personal contacts.

Who's a Member?

The Biola University Alumni Association is comprised of former Biola students who have taken 12 units or more, or who have graduated from the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, Biola College or Biola University.

Biola University Alumni Board

The Biola University Alumni Board is comprised of approximately 20 members who love Biola and believe in its mission. With its governing by-laws and responsibilities, the Board strives to represent alumni, set policies, encourage support and provide programming and services to alumni at large. The Board meets quarterly and each member serves three years with an option for renewal. These meetings are open to all members of the Alumni Association.

Student Alumni Association (SAA)

Student Alumni Association works closely with the Alumni Relations office to create special events for current students that will generate spirit and unity as well as an appreciation for the heritage and traditions of Biola University. SAA members also help with other alumni events giving them a chance to experience activities and have a voice in their future Alumni Association.
